Overview

We are looking for Casual Approved Mental Health Professionals (AMHP) to join the 24 hour rota in Walsall on an ad‑hoc basis.

Qualifications
  • Hold a current AMHP qualification and have post‑qualification experience.
  • Currently employed as an AMHP and approved by a Local Authority.
  • Demonstrate the autonomy and independence required of the AMHP role, ensuring all referrals are considered.
Responsibilities
  • Work unsociable hours, including weekends, bank holidays and night shifts.
  • Provide lone working support when covering weekend, bank holiday or night shifts.
  • Travel around Walsall to fulfil the role.
  • Use updated AMHP forms that incorporate a section 13 approach.
