We are currently recruiting for a Receptionist on a casual basis at Fawsley Hall Hotel & Spa, part of Hand Picked Hotels. Fawsley Hall Hotel is located within Northamptonshire and offers our guests a luxurious stay; the hotel boasts 4 AA Red Stars and a 2 AA Rosette restaurant. For rest and relaxation, Fawsley Hall is home to one of the Midland\'s best destination spas and state-of-the-art wellness and health club facilities. Its formal gardens and parkland were sculpted by the renowned architect Capability Brown in the 1760s.

Responsibilities
  • The role of our receptionists is to deliver an exceptional guest experience, by putting the guest at the heart of everything you do, through personalised and thoughtful service with care and attention to detail.
  • You will be expected to demonstrate a high level of engagement with guests throughout their stay to make them feel at home, relaxed, and importantly identify and create magical memories at every possible opportunity.
  • In collaboration with the Front Office team you\'ll maintain regular and effective communication to ensure a seamless operation, aware of all the day\'s activities.
  • Be passionate about going above and beyond for our guests and recognise and skilfully act on opportunities to make the guest experience memorable through offering or suggesting appropriate hotel products and facilities.
  • Be able to demonstrate a high level of emotional intelligence, enabling you to anticipate guests\' needs ensuring they receive a Hand Picked experience.
  • You\'ll have proficient computer skills, including knowledge of hotel reservation systems and Microsoft Office. Knowledge of Opera is desirable.
  • Through enthusiasm and a willing approach, you will demonstrate how you find solutions to any scenario. Act calmly and professionally, maintaining an outwardly positive attitude even when under pressure.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Knowledge and experience of working in a luxury four or five star hotel within a front office environment.
  • Passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences and for going above and beyond for guests.
  • High level of emotional intelligence and strong guest relationship skills.
  • Proficiency with hotel reservation systems and Microsoft Office; Opera knowledge is desirable.
