Job summary

A top football club in Chipping Barnet is seeking an Academy Physiotherapist or Sports Therapist on a casual basis to assess, diagnose, and rehabilitate injured players across youth age groups. The ideal candidate will hold a BSc in Physiotherapy or Sports Therapy, have a current HCPC membership, and experience treating sports injuries. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with young athletes while promoting inclusivity and safety in all practices. Qualifications

• Current membership of the Health & Care Professions Council and Chartered Society of Physiotherapy.
• FA Level 4 (IFAiF) Qualification or FA ITMMiF Level 4 required.
• Accepted FA Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) Disclosure required.

Responsibilities

• Consult with players to gather information about general health and injury.
• Contribute to strategies for the prevention and reduction of injury.
• Liaise with the medical lead and international teams regarding injury status.

Skills

Experience of treating musculoskeletal/sporting injuries

Ability to assess injury and design and deliver rehabilitation programmes

Knowledge of child protection issues

Education

BSc in Physiotherapy
