Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and motivated individual to join the Finance Department based at Salford Royal Hospital in this key role in the Financial Control Team. The post of Cashier/Finance Assistant involves working at Cashiers Offices across the NCA, and also working from home.

Responsibilities
  • Act as the main relief Cashier at Fairfield General Hospital, the Royal Oldham Hospital and Rochdale Infirmary to cover for absence and annual leave.
  • Deal with various aspects of the accounts payable function, including coding and assigning invoices, processing payments, and dealing with supplier queries.
  • Provide an effective and high‑quality cashiering service which meets the requirements of staff and management and supports the Trust’s aims and objectives, while remaining compliant with the Trust’s Standing Financial Instructions.
  • Assist with accounts payable duties comprising coding and assigning invoices, processing payments, dealing with supplier queries and other ad‑hoc day‑to‑day duties.
  • Maintain excellent customer service skills, a high level of accuracy and a helpful courteous approach to resolving issues.
