Administrative Officer - Probation Service
Location: Birmingham, B5 4UA
Pay: £12.21 per hour
Hours: Full time, 37 hours, Monday-Friday (8-4 or 9-5)
Contract: Temporary until February 2026, with possible extension depending on business need

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys structured tasks, data entry and keeping processes running efficiently.

Key duties include

• Maintaining accurate records and data on in-house systems
• Regular data entry and spreadsheet work
• Chasing appointment outcomes with external stakeholders
• Handling emails, calls and general communications
• Providing straightforward telephone support
• Supporting teams through consistent, high-quality administrative tasks

Working pattern

• Fully onsite during training (a few weeks)
• 1 day per week in the Birmingham office
• 2 days in a local office or office
• 2 days working from home

We're looking for someone organised, reliable, confident with IT systems and able to work at pace in a repetitive but essential administrative environment. The successful candidate would be subject to a basic DBS check and 3 years of referencing.
