Role: Carpentry & Joinery Lecturer

Salary: £28-35 p/h

Location: Bolton

Start date: January

Hours: 37 hours per week

We are delighted to be working with a college in Bolton who are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and talented Lecturer with industry / subject specialist knowledge to deliver high quality teaching and learning within our Carpentry & Joinery provision.

Your role

You will be bringing Joinery to life, supporting students achieve their qualifications, develop students confidence and equip them with the skills they'll require in the future whether that is working in industry or inspiring them to work in education.

You will need to be:

• Qualified to Level 3 in Carpentry & Joinery
• Teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed or equivalent)
• Level 2 Maths and English qualifications
• Experience in the delivery of Carpentry & Joinery programmes
• Experience of assessing students at Levels 2 & 3 in Carpentry & Joinery
• Knowledge of the apprenticeship standards and experience in preparing Carpentry apprentices for end-point assessment
