Job description

We are currently seeking an experienced Carpenter Multi-Trader to join a busy social housing maintenance team working across properties in the Lemington Spa area, so daily travel is essential in this area and the surrounding areas. This is a long-term fixed term contract position carrying out a mixture of day-to-day repairs, planned works, and general maintenance within occupied and void properties.

As a Carpenter Multi-Trader, your duties will include

The ideal candidate will be a strong 2nd Fix Carpenter with reliable multi-trade skills and the ability to work independently, delivering high-quality repairs to a good standard.

Working independently or as part of a team when required

Essential Criteria
  • Experience working in occupied residential settings
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Full UK Driving Licence (max 6 points)
  • Ability to work independently across a dispersed housing patch, NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry & Joinery OR time-served equivalent
  • Experience using a PDA
  • Understanding of responsive repairs and maintenance environments
  • Knowledge of SOR codes
