The successful candidate will manage day-to-day activities, ensuring accurate and timely service delivery while leading a small operations team. Previous experience in managing complex operations and staff development is essential, contributing to a first-class student experience. This position may offer hybrid working arrangements.
The role requires the ability to manage multiple schedules and processes simultaneously. You will use initiative and judgement to balance competing priorities and ensure services are delivered accurately and on time. As team leader, you will organise day-to-day activities and allocate resources effectively.
We are seeking a candidate with proven experience of managing complex operations in a fast-paced environment. Experience of administering databases or information management systems is required. Experience of line management is essential and you should be able to evidence staff development, performance management, and workload planning.

This post will lead the seamless operational delivery of our provision, ensuring a first-class student experience. Working with colleagues across Bayes and City, St Georges you will maintain oversight of operational delivery for more than 2,000 students across 30 programmes, each with unique requirements as well as managing a small Operations team, City St George\'s operates a guaranteed interview scheme for disabled applicants.
At City St George\'s, subject to agreement, relevant Professional Services roles may be undertaken in a hybrid way, involving a mixture of working on campus and at home each week. Where a hybrid working arrangement can be accommodated, it is expected that colleagues will spend the majority (at least 60%) of their usual working time on campus each week. Specific details will be discussed and agreed with the successful candidate. A hybrid working arrangement will not detract from any comprehensive induction, that will include relevant on-site activities.
Regardless of where colleagues are working, City St George\'s, University of London\'s premises will be their primary and contractual place of work.
