A progressive local authority in England is seeking Care Workers to join their Community Homecare team. The role involves providing care and support to clients, requiring a professional attitude and knowledge of dementia care. You will work on flexible shifts, with ongoing training provided. A driving licence and vehicle access are essential for the Community role, with mileage reimbursed.
We provide care and support for clients in their own homes or in our Care Home in Corringham via single or double handed calls. The services operate 365 days a year.

We are currently looking for Care Workers who can work within our Community Homecare team on a permanent or casual contract, and for Care Workers who can support Extra Care Housing Complex in Grays or at Collins House, our Care Home in Corringham on a casual contract.
All our services run on 7 hour shifts starting between 6 and 7 in the morning and 2 and 3 in the afternoon. All rotas cover both early and late shifts and weekends (2 out of 4).
Full Driving Licence and access to your own vehicle are required for working in the Community; mileage is paid at 45p per mile.
The successful candidate will need to have a professional attitude at all times and have knowledge around the understanding of Dementia, Challenging behaviours, and Manual Handling; training is also provided.
