A regional local authority is seeking a Care Worker to support adults with learning disabilities in the Beverley area. The role involves promoting independence and assisting with daily routines, personal care, and household tasks. Candidates should have a Care Certificate, two years of social care experience, and good communication skills. If so then we are seeking you to join our team in a Care Worker role, working across our 24 hour and Independent Supported Living Schemes, in the Beverley and East Riding area.
The Supported Housing Team is a CQC registered service that works across local communities to support people who have a learning disability to live as independently as possible in their own homes.
You will be able to offer:
You will also hold a full driving licence and have your own vehicle for use for work purposes (travel mileage allowances paid).
Have the Care Certificate
Have at least two years experience working in a social care setting.

This role will require a sleep in night each week as part of the contracted hours. This could be midweek or a weekend.
Hours are worked on a shift rota basis, which is run over seven days, and will include working some evenings, alternate weekends, some sleep-in duties, and some bank holiday working, all for which additional allowances are paid.
