Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Giver to join our team in Wigan, United Kingdom. As a Care Giver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by providing personalised care and support in their homes.

Shift Patterns will consist of mornings, 7:00–14:15 and late shifts 16:00–22:00, with a requirement of at least 1 late shift per week.

Responsibilities
  • Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility
  • Prepare nutritious meals and help with feeding when necessary
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
  • Accompany clients to medical appointments and social activities
  • Administer medication as prescribed and monitor clients\' health conditions
  • Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients
  • Collaborate with family members and healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
  • Keep accurate records of care provided and report any changes in clients\' conditions
  • Engage clients in stimulating activities and conversations to promote mental well-being
  • Respond promptly and appropriately to emergencies or unexpected situations
  • Alternative weekend work required.
