Brentwood Care Centre, based in Brentwood Essex, are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Deputy Manager to support the General Manager in the day-to-day leadership and clinical oversight of our care home. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced nurse or senior clinician who is passionate about delivering high-quality, person-centred care. You will play a key role in ensuring clinical excellence, supporting staff development, and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities
  • Support the Clinical Manager in the overall management of clinical services
  • Lead, mentor, and supervise nursing and care staff
  • Ensure the delivery of safe, effective, and person-centred care
  • Conduct clinical audits and support care planning and risk assessments
  • Assist with staff training, appraisals, and performance management
  • Ensure compliance with CQC standards, policies, and procedures
  • Act as a clinical lead in the absence of the Clinical Manager
Qualifications
  • Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN) with a valid NMC pin
  • Proven experience in a senior or leadership role within a care home or healthcare setting
  • Strong clinical knowledge and decision-making skills
