Job summary

Integrated Care 24 (IC24) is seeking Care Co-Ordinators for its Integrated Urgent Care division, supporting NHS 111, CAS and Out of Hours services. You will own a service area, coordinate queues, deploy resources, and help frontline colleagues deliver safe, timely patient care in a fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes maintaining service performance, identifying staffing gaps, ensuring patient safety, and clear cross-team communication.

Responsibilities

• Take day-to-day ownership of an allocated service area (NHS 111, CAS or Out of Hours).
• Monitor queue activity and patient demand to maintain service performance.
• Provide guidance to frontline colleagues and ensure they have support.
• Escalate risks relating to patient safety, capacity or performance.
• Identify staffing gaps and work with leaders to ensure cover.
• Collaborate with clinical teams for smooth handovers and continuity.
• Contribute ideas to improve service delivery and patient experience.
