A reputable healthcare provider in Northern Ireland is seeking a Care Assistant to provide compassionate, person-centred care for residents. This role involves assisting with daily living activities, offering emotional support, and maintaining a safe environment. The Home
Blair House Care Home is a well-established, registered nursing facility located on the outskirts of Newtownards, with the Scrabo Tower as its backdrop. Conveniently situated near the town centre, the home is easily accessible via a range of transport options. Our spacious home offers care and support for up to 85 residents across four specialised units: Residential Dementia, Nursing Dementia, Frail and Elderly Nursing, and our newly opened Mental Health Unit. Each unit is designed to meet the unique needs of our residents in a safe, comfortable, and supportive environment.

You will pride yourself on providing high-quality, person-centred care to our residents, fostering a welcoming environment where residents are treated with respect and dignity, and staff feel valued and supported. As part of our frontline team, you will play a pivotal role in the day-to-day operations of the Home, assisting with activities of daily living ensuring the wellbeing and comfort of residents. As a Care Assistant, you will also provide emotional support and companionship to residents, fostering meaningful relationships and promoting a sense of compassion; an advocacy for the rights and preferences of our residents.
Shift and Sponsorship
4pm-10pm. 5 Days a week.
