A leading care home provider in Winchester is seeking a Care Assistant to deliver high standards of personal care to residents. You'll assist with personal hygiene, identify clinical risks, and ensure the dignity of residents. Experience is not required as comprehensive training is provided. As a Care Assistant at Avery Healthcare's Winchester Heights Care Home, you will be responsible for delivering high standards of personal care and contributing fully to the care team to ensure continuity of services for the residents. Your responsibilities will include assisting residents with personal hygiene, recognising and escalating clinical risks, and acting courteously towards residents and their visitors while respecting their dignity and individuality. Avery offers a thorough induction and training program to ensure you feel confident in your role.

The ideal candidate should have the ability to communicate effectively, demonstrate initiative and respect towards residents, be an efficient worker who can follow instructions, and be adaptable and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities.
