As a Care Assistant at Avery Healthcare, your focus will be to deliver high standards of personal care, contributing fully to the care team to ensure continuity of services to residents. This will involve assisting residents with their personal hygiene, recognising and understanding clinical risk areas, acting courteously towards residents and their visitors, and practising safe systems of work. Please note this role will require:
No prior experience is required, as Avery Healthcare provides a thorough induction and training program. However, the ideal candidate must have the ability to communicate effectively, demonstrate initiative and respect towards the residents and other people in the home, be an efficient worker who can carry reasonable instructions from other team members, and be able adapt and be flexible to cover a range of responsibilities on short notice.
