Overview

Homecarers is a recognised care provider rated GOOD overall by CQC (Care Quality Commission). We are looking for people who have a kind, friendly caring nature, who may want a change of career and flexible shifts. You dont need qualifications or experience; we offer a thorough 4-day induction programme to prepare you in your new exciting role.

What to expect

• You will be visiting clients in the Ellesmere Port area in their own home.
• You will be meeting several clients each day, so you need to be a great communicator and even better listener, as our clients love to tell great stories.
• Ideally you will be a driver using your own car, however we also have walker runs for non drivers.
• As a driver you will also receive a pay enhancement to help with those additional costs.
• You will be providing personal care and assisting with personal hygiene and dressing to get them ready for the day ahead.
• We dont need you to be a Michelin Starred chef, however basic cooking skills, such as boiling an egg, making sandwiches and using the microwave is essential.
• Our clients have a range of ailments that they need support with, so our Support Workers need to be patient and have compassion.
• We have a variety of shifts available, including morning shifts, full days and afternoons. We also have evening shifts 6.30pm - 11.15pm which attract an enhanced pay rate.
• If you let us know your availability, we'll see what we can do.
• We provide support to our clients 7 days a week, so alternate weekend working is something we require.
