Overview

Early hours for experienced Care Assistants in the Codnor Area!

As an experienced Care Assistant you will be working alongside a friendly and experienced team within a beautiful care home which caters for up to 40 residents living with age-related illnesses such as Dementia.

Responsibilities
  • Following personalised care plans
  • Recording any relevant condition updates
  • Recording fluid intakes
  • Conducting required personal care
  • Supporting the service users through effective use of moving and handling
  • Maintaining the health and safety of the service users at all times
  • Taking part in activities to keep the service users engaged throughout the day
  • Completing housekeeping tasks as required
Qualifications
  • Have referenceable work history
  • Hold in-date mandatory training certificates (inc. moving and handling, safeguarding vulnerable adults and infection control)
  • Hold an enhanced DBS certificate dated within the past 12 months or registered on the update service
  • Have a minimum of 3 months paid UK work experience working within a care home

If you do not have a valid DBS and/or training, do not worry as we can help you with this. We are happy to offer online training available at a subsidised fee and the certificates are yours to keep!

Hours and Pay
  • This role offers immediate start opportunities with ongoing work
  • We have Full time and Part time hours available
  • You will be working either 06:45 to 14:30 on days between Monday and Sunday
  • The rate of pay for this role is £12.35 per hour (plus accrued holiday)
