Job summary

A care group in Sefton is seeking a compassionate Care Assistant to provide outstanding care for residents during daytime hours. Birkdale Tower Care Home, located in the heart of Birkdale, Southport, is a beautifully restored landmark offering luxurious surroundings and exceptional, person-centred care. As part of the Sandstone Care Group, we pride ourselves on creating a warm, supportive environment where residents feel truly at home.

We are currently recruiting a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team and help deliver outstanding care during daytime hours.

Responsibilities
  • Supporting residents with personal care, hygiene, and daily living activities
  • Providing companionship and emotional support
  • Assisting residents with mobility and mealtime needs
  • Monitoring wellbeing and promptly reporting any changes or concerns
  • Maintaining accurate care records and contributing to clear handovers
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure a safe, calm, and welcoming environment
Qualifications
