Job description

Home Instead, based Welwyn, Hatfield, Potters Bar and Borehamwood are now seeking to add to our highly respected team of care professionals.

We work in the community, visiting people in their own homes and travelling extensively each day between clients so it is essential that you have a UK driving licence and your own car.

We will undertake to train and continuously professionally develop you, helping you to progress and turn a job into a career.

Benefits

• We pay £12.75 - £13.40 basic hourly rate and with benefits this averages around the £14.96 - £15.66 per hour.
• We will pay you fully when training, including home e-learning and on-site workshops, encouraging you to formalise your knowledge.
• We pay you when travelling between clients (with some exceptions).
• We do not do short visits, all visits are for a minimum of 1-hour for each client (sometimes longer).
• Travel expenses are paid between £0.30 - £0.45 per mile.
• We work with your individual availability be it 12 hours or 25 hours.
• Job offer made at initial interview.

Essential Requirements

• UK driving licence and own car.
• Must be available to cover your standard hours covering Saturday and Sunday on alternate weekends.
• Must live locally to our location.
• Must have the Right to Work in the UK, we are not licenced to sponsor people at this time.
