Job description

At HC-One, kindness is at the heart of everything we do across our Dementia, Nursing, Residential and Specialist care homes. Our residents are people with their own stories to tell, and by joining us you'll have the chance to give something back while helping them live with dignity and purpose.

Responsibilities
  • Support the physical, emotional and social wellbeing of residents under the guidance of a Registered Nurse.
  • Provide personal care including washing, dressing, hygiene and meals, and assist with daily activities in the home.
  • Deliver care that respects each resident’s individuality, including supporting those with limited mobility and offering comfort to distressed residents, including compassionate end-of-life care.
Safeguarding

Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility. You should recognise signs of potential abuse, harm or neglect in its different forms and know what to do if there are concerns. All colleagues are required to attend safeguarding training appropriate to their role and to undertake additional training in associated areas. You should seek appropriate advice and report concerns, including escalation if action is not taken.
