Roles and Responsibilities

Our care assistants are responsible for meeting the support requirements of our customers, in a way that respects the individual and promotes their independence. You would travel to the customers’ home, in Preston and assist them with daily tasks as agreed between the customer and , being a pair of helping hands with tasks that require it. As a care assistant, you play a crucial role in your customer’s daily life.

Your role would include helping customers with tasks such as :

• Shopping & meal preparation
• Prompting with medication
• Support with daily routines
• Respite services
• Personal Care
• Socialising and leisure activities
• Helping customers access the community

Required Education, Skills and Qualifications
