Job Description

We are looking for a kind, patient, and friendly night carer to support our child while they sleep and keep nights peaceful and safe. The candidate should be comfortable around a friendly dog and able to create a calm, nurturing environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide night‑time support to a child with complex medical and behavioural needs.
  • Ensure safety and care during sleep, including medication administration and management of nighttime seizures.
  • Monitor bedtime routine and support compliance with required equipment and environment (red stars, nightlight, music).
  • Offer support during periods of challenging behaviour and maintain a calm setting.
  • Assist with any medical tasks such as suctioning, peg feeding, ventilation as required.
  • Cooperate with healthcare professionals and maintain communication with carers and care team.
