Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for motivated and enthusiastic Registered Nurses to join our team in Cardiology/Cardiothoracic on Ward 4 at MRI. Ward 4 specializes in the care of cardiology and cardiac surgical patients and is a busy 28 bedded acute cardiology/cardiac surgery ward with opportunities to develop clinical skills and knowledge. The ward supports cardiac monitoring, telemetry, and ECG rhythm recognition training.

Responsibilities

Deliver high quality, patient-focused care with pride and respect. Be committed to achieving high standards and the delivery of quality care for patients, including those with complex cardiology conditions, pre and post cardiac surgery, and post cardiac catheter procedures. Provide care as part of a team on Ward 4 and support medical patients who may require cardiac monitoring. Be prepared to work a mixture of days, nights and weekends.

Qualifications and Skills

Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and be able to provide evidence of personal and professional development. Successful candidates will be highly motivated to meet the challenge and maintain high standards under pressure.
