Overview

Job Title: Car Sales Executive
Location: Toyota, Croydon
Salary: £20,000 basic + uncapped commission (OTE £50,000+)
Hours: Monday to Friday 08:30 – 18:00 (with one fixed day off during the week); Saturday 09:00 – 17:00; 1 in 3 Sundays 10:00 – 16:00

Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a professional and customer-focused Car Sales Executive to join the team at our Toyota Croydon dealership. This role offers the chance to represent one of the most prestigious automotive brands, working with the latest hybrid and electric vehicle technologies in a premium retail environment. You will be joining a supportive and high-performing team, with full manufacturer training, a company car, and excellent commission potential. Key Responsibilities
  • Build strong relationships with customers through excellent communication and service.
  • Understand customer needs and recommend the most suitable vehicle and finance package.
  • Present and explain additional products such as service plans and insurance.
  • Ensure all compliance and regulatory standards are met.
  • Follow up with existing and potential customers to maximise sales opportunities.
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly individual and team sales targets.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records on internal systems.
  • Deliver a five-star experience from first contact through to handover and aftersales support.
What We’re Looking For
  • Previous experience in sales or a customer-facing role is essential.
  • Automotive experience is desirable but not essential – full training is provided.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • A proactive, professional, and enthusiastic approach to work.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A full UK driving licence is required.
  • Confidence working in a target-driven environment.
