Overview

Canine Hydrotherapist – East Riding of Yorkshire. Our client – a thriving, independent small animal practice based across two sites in East Yorkshire – is looking for a Canine Hydro therapist to join their forward-thinking team in a purpose-built hospital with a cutting-edge rehabilitation suite, including a 6 x 4 metre hydrotherapy pool and underwater treadmill.

Join a well-established multi-disciplinary rehab team and help dogs recover, strengthen, and thrive through tailored hydrotherapy treatments.

Responsibilities
  • Designing and delivering individualised treatment plans
  • Advising owners on therapy options and expected outcomes
  • Monitoring progress and liaising with referring vets
  • Managing hydrotherapy equipment and ensuring safe practice
  • Handling dogs of all breeds, sizes and temperaments with confidence and care
What You’ll Bring
  • Minimum Level 3 qualification in Hydrotherapy for Small Animals (Level 4 preferred)
  • Training in Advanced Water Treatment highly desirable
  • Post-qualification experience delivering canine hydrotherapy
  • Strong communication skills and a compassionate approach
  • Confidence working with a variety of canine patients with differing needs
