📍 INTERVALLO – 205 Deptford High Street, SE8 3NT.
Intervallo is where espresso meets aperitivo – an independent Italian‑style café and bar in the heart of Deptford. By day we serve specialty coffee, focaccia, panini and sharing platters. In the evening it’s all about spritzes, wines, beers and classic Italian bites. We’re a small, fast‑moving team with big energy and we’re looking for a Supervisor with solid café experience, confident in both specialty coffee and food preparation, who can help lead the daily operation and keep Intervallo running smoothly.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Running daily service and supporting the team.
• Opening and closing the café independently.
• Preparing focaccia, panini, sharing platters and light Italian bites.
• Making high‑quality espresso‑based drinks.
• Pouring basic latte art.
• Serving customers warmly and confidently.
• Maintaining food safety, hygiene standards and a tidy workspace.
• Monitoring stock levels and inventories.
• Ensuring Intervallo always feels welcoming and well‑presented.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience working in cafés, deli or small kitchen environments.
• Strong food‑prep skills and confidence with fresh ingredients.
• Experience with specialty coffee and basic latte art.
• A positive, hands‑on attitude, happy to jump between food, coffee and customer service.
• Reliability, good communication and the ability to work independently.
• Someone who enjoys being part of a small, friendly team.

This is a zero‑hours contract role.
