Overview

Customers visit our café for all sorts of reasons. Whether it's a hearty breakfast to kickstart their day, or a quick pick-me-up for those on their way, we're here to provide great service, no matter the order. As a member of our Front of House team, you will contribute to a welcoming, efficient experience for every guest.

With your dedication to excellent service and your understanding of health and safety standards, you'll help make every day better. Your responsibilities may include serving food and drinks, maintaining a clean environment, and staying up-to-date with our menu and initiatives to keep our café inviting.

During this role you will be supported behind the scenes with opportunities for career development, flexible working options, and more. This is a place where you can grow with opportunities to progress.

Responsibilities
  • Serving customers quickly, efficiently and with care.
  • Resolving customer complaints and relaying information to the Café Manager.
  • Maintaining food freshness by following first in, first out (FIFO) stock rotation.
  • Adhering to food safety and hygiene regulations while keeping daily records.
  • Accepting deliveries and handling the safe storage of food.
  • Being aware of (and following) all operational policies and procedures.
  • Clearing and sanitising tables so our café stays clean.
  • Making sure we maintain our standards and all food products are available.
  • Staying up-to-date with business communications and exciting new initiatives.
  • Knowing our café’s menu inside out and ensuring food is served as intended.
  • Preparing hot and cold drinks for customers.
  • A commitment to excellent customer service.
  • Knowledge of Health and Safety standards.
  • The ability to work efficiently and maintain a clean environment.
