Job Summary

Spaces for weddings, corporate events, and team‑building days. The Café side of the role supports the Café Supervisor in delivering world class customer service within the restaurant and café. The events side of the role provides hands‑on support to the Weddings & Events Supervisor for the efficient coordination and delivery of weddings and various events, ensuring an exceptional experience for all guests and visitors.

Responsibilities
  • Carry out cleaning duties to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
  • Undertake record temperature checks and ensure high standards of food hygiene.
  • Serve customers promptly and efficiently while complying with financial and cash handling procedures.
  • Assist with the preparation, execution, and breakdown of events.
  • Provide support to create a safe, fun, and professional working environment.
Qualifications
  • Passionate, enthusiastic, and eager to go the extra mile for customers.
  • Level 2 Food Safety certification desirable; full training provided.
  • Previous experience in a customer‑facing environment.
  • Passion for the events and hospitality industry.
  • Flexibility to be available for weddings and events on demand.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Own transport for commuting.
Employment Details

Job title: Café and Events Assistant
Location: Bisham Abbey
Working Hours: Casual, Monday to Sunday
Café hours 8:00‑3:00 or 3:00‑8:30 p.m. with later finishes when events take place
Salary: Up to £12.21 per hour, depending on age
