Overview

Our client, operating in the water sector, is seeking a skilled CAD Technician to join their team. This long-term contract role focuses on key water infrastructure projects, including clean water mains renewals and trunk mains, particularly for Thames and Affinity AMP8 projects. Start date in September with hybrid and flexible working arrangements.

Responsibilities

• Utilise AutoCAD and Civil 3D software to produce detailed design drawings.
• Support the delivery of clean water, mains renewals, and trunk mains projects.
• Collaborate with engineers and project managers to ensure designs meet project specifications.
• Assist in the preparation and maintenance of project documentation.
• Conduct quality checks on drawings to ensure accuracy and compliance with standards.
• Engage in design review meetings and provide technical input.
• Adhere to project timelines and deliverables.
• Support the implementation of BIM processes where applicable.

Requirements / Qualifications

• Experience with AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
