A leading engineering consultancy is seeking multiple CAD Designers to support engineering design and optioneering across various UK Power Sector projects. Candidates should have experience in CAD, ideally with 5 years in engineering or the Power sector. The role is primarily remote with opportunities to work from certain offices and requires willingness to travel. Attractive package with competitive salary and bonus included.
We require multiple CAD Designers to work within our engineering consultancy division undertaking Optioneering Front End Engineer Design (FEED) and Detailed Design on various projects including customer connections system reinforcement and asset replacement projects.
You will have the opportunity to work on projects that will be across the UK Power Sector including the National Grid Electricity Transmission (NGET) system, Distribution Networks and Developer led BESS Solar and Data Centre projects.
Ideal candidates will have experience in the UK Power Sector but this is not essential as you will be supported by our team of industry experts and provided with a library of engineering templates to utilise. We require someone who is proficient in the use of 2D CAD who can support the Principal Engineers in developing new and amending existing drawings to support the project requirements.
Home based with the option of working from Omnia offices (Stafford, Stockton, Heath, Northallerton) as pre‑project requirements. Must be willing to travel anywhere throughout the UK.
Ideally full time but may consider part time staff positions.
