Oversees the development of quality management systems and programs to improve product quality, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency. Leads efforts to improve quality, efficiency, and effectiveness by implementing corrective and preventive actions based on root cause analysis. This job family is in the management level category and is below the executive management. Incumbents in this job family are typically responsible for directing and guiding the work of teams and/or individuals. Typically incumbents would be responsible for performance reviews, pay reviews, and may have hire/fire decision making authority. In limited instances, incumbents in this management job level category may also be responsible for a functional area and not have people reporting to them.
