THE ROLE

As a Buyer, you will play a pivotal role in managing high-value direct and indirect procurement to support seamless manufacturing operations. Your expertise will drive cost efficiency, quality, and timely delivery while fostering strong supplier relationships and operational excellence. Key responsibilities include:

• Strategic Sourcing: Negotiate and manage supplier contracts to optimise cost, quality, and on-time delivery (OTIF).
• Supplier Management: Develop and monitor KPIs, conduct supplier performance reviews, and build robust partnerships.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with internal teams to align procurement strategies with business goals and support new product introductions.
• Inventory Management: Optimise stock levels to ensure uninterrupted production while minimising excess inventory.
• Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify and address supply chain risks, escalating issues as needed.
• Compliance: Ensure all procurement activities adhere to company policies and industry regulations.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records for purchase orders and supplier agreements.
