A property management firm is seeking a proactive Assistant Buyer in Liverpool to manage the procurement lifecycle, support various projects, and ensure cost efficiency. Candidates should have a track record in supplier management and contract negotiation, and possess strong analytical and communication skills. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to innovative procurement practices.
We are looking for a proactive and commercially-minded Assistant Buyer to join our Procurement team at HMS, part of Torus Group. This is a key role supporting our Category Managers and Head of Supply Chain in delivering value for money, compliance, and efficiency across a wide range of goods, services and works contracts. You will help manage the full procurement lifecycle, from supplier engagement and tendering through to contract management and performance monitoring. Acting as a trusted partner to stakeholders, you will provide expert advice and practical support to ensure procurement activity meets business needs, delivers innovation, and supports Torus’ corporate objectives.
Interviews will take place at our Stonebridge office on Monday 29th September and Tuesday 30th September. The interview will be competency-based, to assess your skills and suitability for the role.
