Job description

We have an exciting and rewarding opportunity for a passionate individual to join the UK Support Function team.

Salary
: Circa £35,000 depending on experience
Dynamic (hybrid) working
: 2-3 days per week on‑site due to workload classification
Security Clearance
: British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenship. Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply. As a minimum and after offer stage, all successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS), which are managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team.

The opportunity:

You will undertake specific responsibilities to support, prioritise and coordinate effective and efficient technical administrative support to the Common Anti‑air Modular Missile (CAMM) Family. You will need to exhibit a high level of organisation skills, great team ethic and the ability to interface with people at all levels both internally and externally, whilst embracing innovative ways of working.

  • Based at our Stevenage office with the flexibility to travel to other UK sites
  • Support the Export Control Facilitator (ECF) on export licencing and security approvals
  • Support the Export Delivery Coordinator for export shipping issues
  • To work alongside the Sector Knowledge Management lead, assisting them with Knowledge Management initiatives in the domain
  • Provide support to our Engineering Security team in the processing of the release of classified data / documents to export customers
  • Create and maintain Document templates (Memos, PowerPoint, Report Formats) with up to date commercial /copyright statements for the domain
  • Be the sector representative in the implementation for the efficient use of software and associated processes
  • Maintain and manage the domains Resource Shortage Register
  • Be the owner and gatekeeper of the domains New Starter Pack
  • Manage and maintain internal organisation charts for the teams within the domain
  • To be a key member within the UK Support Function and participate in engagement activities
  • Sharing best practice and knowledge within the UK Support Function and offering guidance and training to team members
  • Participation and progress on UK Support Function personal development initiatives – to be accountable for own self‑learning and development
  • Any other adhoc technical administration duties

  • Can demonstrate a high level of proficiency in Microsoft packages and an ability to identify, implement and utilise specialist tools and software to streamline tasks. (Training will be provided on specialist tools and software)
  • Can demonstrate courage and influencing skills whilst promoting MBDA company values and behaviours
  • A professional demeanour in all situations and be able to withhold confidential information
  • Willingness to learn and extend the role above and beyond the job description
