We are seeking ambitious and enthusiastic individuals to join our growing Business Specialist team. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting our business customers, building strong relationships and providing exceptional service. Working in our Business team will mean you gain exposure to a different customer base within Good Energy, handling accounts for a wide variety of businesses. You will gain insight into and learn the nuances of the B2B environment, while honing skills linked to account management and business awareness, that will support your progression.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent customer service to our business customers, addressing their enquiries and resolving any issues through phone and email.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships through proactive communication.
  • Gain a deep understanding of our products and services, with opportunities to become a specialist in key technical areas of your role.
  • Support customers to manage their account in self-sufficient ways (via digital services, smart meters).
  • Handle customer complaints professionally and effectively, ensuring timely resolution and customer satisfaction.
What you'll need to succeed

As a Business Specialist, working almost fully remote, you'll provide exceptional customer service to a range of businesses using renewable energy. You'll handle inbound calls and emails (avg. 10 calls/day), resolve billing issues, and promote sustainable energy solutions. Customer Satisfaction, account health will be a key focus for you. You’ll have the opportunity to build relationships with around 3,000 business customers, adapting communication to their needs.

Hybrid working explained: When and where you’ll be in the office

Our office is based in Chippenham, Wiltshire. For this role, we're looking for candidates who can come in to our Chippenham office once a month / once a quarter, based on location.

We offer both formal and informal flexible working options. Full‑time hours are 37.5 per week, Monday to Friday.
