A UK-based educational trust is seeking a Business Partner to support school leadership teams in financial management. The role entails preparing management accounts, ensuring budget software is current, and overseeing month-end processes. The ideal candidate will balance financial sustainability with delivering positive outcomes for children. This position requires enhanced DBS clearance for safeguarding.
Whilst this role is part of the Business Partnering team, the main stakeholders will be the leadership team (normally the Headteacher / Principal) at each allocated school. A BP will be able to provide support and challenge to schools, preparing the management accounts, ensuring IMP Planner (Budget software) is up to date, ensuring the month-end process is complete and ultimately holding schools to account for their budget, balancing financial sustainability with delivering the best outcomes for children. You will be joining an effective team already in place.
PDET's Business Partnering Team consists of 9 people, with 6 BPs reporting into 3 Regional Business Partners (RBP).
As a Trust of 36 primary schools, we educate over 6000 children. A number of our schools are very small, and this means we need to be smart with the resources we have at our disposal.
