Job description

Westcombe Engineering is seeking a dedicated and technically strong Business Operations Manager to play a key role in our precision engineering team. As a member of our team, you will head up the operations of the company, ensure positive customer service at all times, build our client base and grow Westcombe in a sustainable way.

In this role you will:

  • Be the first point of call for customers and drive new business
  • Ensure pricing is completed correctly and in a timely manner
  • Liaise with customers to ensure we adhere to excellent quality standards
  • All billing will be carried out in a timely manner to ensure clients receive good customer service and the company's budgets are kept up to date
  • Collaborate with production planners, engineers, and quality teams to meet deadlines and maintain workflow
  • Uphold safety standards, maintain clean and orderly workstations, support continuous improvement

  • Proven experience of financial management
  • Experience of building sales and ensuring quality for existing customers
  • Ability to understand technical drawings

  • A team player who takes pride in their work
  • Experience in a precision engineering or manufacturing environment is preferred, but training will be provided for the right candidate
