A leading electrical distributor is seeking a proactive DataComms Business Development Manager to grow their DataComms category across the UK. You will build and maintain a strong sales pipeline, engage with existing customers to win new accounts, and provide technical product solutions. Prior experience in DataComms and strong presentation skills are essential. This role emphasizes collaboration and accountability while contributing to sales and customer relationships.
We’re looking for a proactive, technically confident DataComms Business Development Manager to grow our DataComms category across a defined territory (North or South of the UK)
You’ll win new category business, nurture key customer relationships and hand over accounts to our operations team for ongoing management — whilst remaining the go‑to contact for product innovation, training and new opportunities.
This is a hands‑on commercial role with real impact: you’ll develop and run a pipeline, drive sales and CPM targets, and champion our own brand and products and their benefits to our customers.
