An international media business is seeking a Business Development Manager to focus on new business targeting the US education sector. The company is an international media and resource company providing a vast array of different services to the higher education sector, helping both universities and students worldwide. They are growing extremely quickly and are looking to double the size of one of their new business departments, which targets the US education sector.
The company offers excellent training and development opportunities, and the next step up the ladder (account management) will enable you to travel to international events, meeting your clients in person and building on those relationships.
As Business Development Manager, you will be focusing 100% on new business. You will be given a territory in the US and will then target all relevant private and public educational institutions/universities.
You will be selling a 'cost per student' partnership with universities, where your company commits to finding them a certain number of international students each week/month. This is a compelling proposition, and you would be focusing on a specific area of the US.
Since you are targeting the US, you also have the freedom to work flexible hours (e.g., 7am - 4pm).
