Overview

Catering equipment is a fundamental service that Hospitality, Catering, Events, Healthcare and many other sectors need. They would require Clothing, PPE, Cutlery, Appliances, Tableware, Table Services, Furniture, and Commercial Kitchen Equipment plus Cleaning. We are seeking a one stop shop approach that can offer many of these services, providing a strong opportunity for a Business Development Manager to sell a diverse range of products and services for a globally recognised brand that distributes these services.

Central/ North Region - Midlands and North

What we are after & what you will be doing
  • New Business Hunters. Ideally, someone who has sold into Hotels, NHS, Universities, independent hotels, restaurant chains or care homes; however, we are looking for a strong B2B salesperson in general.
  • Have you sold into Hospitality before? We would love to speak to you.
  • You will be selling to the exiting portfolio, but you will be selling products that have not used you before. For example, they could be using cutlery from you… but have you asked about the PPE? The clothing? The Cleaning? We are looking for inquisitive salespeople to open a client up and ask good questions, strategically building a rapport.
  • We are looking for around 12 appointments a week. This can include touch points and can be built over time when you book meetings ahead of time.
  • You will be given a company car or car allowance.
  • They will offer great training and a real collaborative approach.
  • We are after a track record of success; we are looking for someone who is successful where they are now and wants to move into a bigger, more complex role with an array and variety of products and services.
  • You must know your OTE – how much you have earned and what you want to achieve.
  • Salary is £45k-£50k + £15k OTE, capped - package of £65k.
