Business Development Manager

Location: North West (UK-wide travel)

A rapidly growing stainless‑steel fabrication business is seeking a driven Business Development Manager to accelerate growth across hospitality, bar build, commercial kitchen, and architectural metalwork sectors.

This person will be instrumental in winning contracts as well as estimating the work.

The Role
  • Identify and win new business from hospitality groups, commercial kitchen dealers, fit‑out contractors, joinery firms, and architects.
  • Build and manage a strong pipeline through outbound activity, networking, and tender platforms.
  • Promote a wide range of stainless‑steel products, from standard units to fully bespoke fabrications.
  • Develop and maintain key account relationships, providing technical guidance on custom builds and installations.
  • Attend site visits, surveys, and project meetings, ensuring smooth handover to estimating and production teams.
  • Provide market insights to support pricing, margin protection, and commercial strategy.
About You
  • Proven background in business development or technical sales within fabrication, catering equipment, commercial kitchens, metalwork, or related engineering fields.
  • Strong technical understanding of stainless‑steel fabrication and drawings.
  • Confident communicator with excellent negotiation and closing skills.
  • Self‑motivated, organised, and commercially minded.
