An energy organization in the UK seeks an experienced Business Continuity & Emergency Preparedness and Response Manager. The IPT Safety, Licensing and Assurance Function is seeking a qualified and experienced Business Continuity & Emergency Preparedness and Response Manager to establish, lead, and oversee GBE-N's Business Continuity Management System (BCMS) as well as establishing Emergency Preparedness & Response (EP&R) requirements and strategies. The successful candidate will ensure organisational resilience against disruptions and strict adherence to legal and regulatory requirements. This position presents a unique opportunity to develop strategy, processes, and procedures from the ground up. The successful candidate will be the subject matter expert for the Business Continuity / Emergency Preparedness and Response aspects of the nuclear power station design and interfacing across GBE-N, with supply chain partners and also Regulators. The role holder must be able to achieve security clearance and will be expected to recruit and, over time, form a team expected to be in the region of 1-3 FTE.

In June 2025, Great British Energy - Nuclear announced that Rolls‑Royce SMR had been selected as the preferred bidder to build the UK's first SMRs, following a technology selection process that began in 2023.
