If this sounds like you then I'd carry on....
I’m supporting a long-term client in the energy software space as they look to bring in an experienced Business Analyst to join their Billing and CRM team.
This team own the development of a flagship platform used by suppliers across the UK to manage everything from customer onboarding and industry flows to billing logic and revenue operations.
You’ll sit right at the centre of that product. Your work will shape new features, guide developers and testers and help translate industry or customer requirements into solutions the platform can actually deliver. It’s a mix of functional analysis, stakeholder input, and hands‑on involvement in the full development lifecycle.
You’ll work closely with developers and testers to produce clear user stories, acceptance criteria and functional documentation. Gathering and simplifying requirements across internal teams and external customers, you’ll help interpret complex industry compliance changes and shape how these are delivered in the product.
You’ll review testing, support change control and contribute to planning and project discussions. To top it all off, you'll also take the lead in explaining product behaviour to colleagues and clients so strong communication will go a long way.
This is unapologetically niche - as a result we need :
This role can be fully remote - we have a HQ up in Chorley but for this role we're happy to accommodate fully remote working.
You’ll be joining a grown‑up environment with a strong project pipeline, a supportive BA community and a product team that values clear thinking, good documentation and people who enjoy solving problems properly.
Sound like you?
