Summary

The Business Intelligence & Commercial Excellence Analyst will lead all analytical activities to evaluate the effectiveness of the commercial team, identifying opportunities to optimise UK&I business performance, and influence senior key stakeholders through data-driven recommendations that drive meaningful change.

Responsibilities
  • Data Management & Analysis: Collect, clean, and analyse large datasets from multiple sources; ensure quality assurance of statistical techniques and continuously improve analytical practices.
  • Reporting & Dashboards: Design, prepare, and deliver periodic reports (sales, activity, KPIs) and maintain dashboards using tools like Power BI or Tableau.
  • Advanced Analytics & Forecasting: Apply statistical methods, predictive modelling, scenario analysis, and forecasting to identify trends, patterns, anomalies, and support strategic planning.
  • Commercial Excellence & CRM: Manage commercial excellence functions, incentive schemes, and CRM administration (Salesforce), ensuring accurate data input, reporting, and bonus scheme processing.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration & Insights: Partner with sales, marketing, and global teams to provide actionable insights, support ad hoc analysis, and communicate findings effectively to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strategic Projects & Market Analysis: Analyse wins, upgrades, losses, and market access pipeline; predict pull-through sales; contribute to global reviews and regional representation in commercial/customer excellence projects.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Relevant Degree: Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field, with proven experience in data analysis.
  • Commercial Strategy Expertise: Experience in leveraging data analysis to influence and shape business processes.
  • Data Handling Skills: Proven ability to manipulate large datasets quickly and accurately to support decision-making.
  • Advanced Software Proficiency: Strong skills in Excel, Access, and PowerPoint for data presentation and reporting.
  • Technical Tools & Programming: Demonstrable experience with SQL, VBA, Python, and data visualisation tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
