Our Client is seeking a dynamic Business Analyst capable of gathering requirements and demonstrating a deep understanding of the role, with the ability to bridge the gap between business and technology teams.

The ideal candidate should be confident, able to challenge the business, and an excellent communicator. Travel to various Client sites across the UK may be required.

Essential qualities and experience include:

  • Significant experience as a Business Analyst, successfully delivering IT projects within a multi-divisional organization
  • Strong analytical skills and business analysis expertise
  • Understanding of the business functional domain, including operating models, activities, data, processes, and information requirements
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with experience in engaging senior business users, gathering requirements, and resolving issues
  • Recognized qualifications in business analysis and project management methodologies such as Prince2 Practitioner, APMP, Scrum Master
  • Strong interpersonal skills to develop relationships across all organizational levels
  • Knowledge of IT Service Management, e.g., ITIL
  • Leadership qualities, independence, and responsibility
  • Collaborative approach and teamwork orientation
  • Ability to influence peers in IT and Business units
  • Customer and delivery focus, aiming to exceed expectations
  • Alignment with Client Values: Respect, Teamwork, Integrity, Excellence

Operational Duties:

  • Define business requirements and develop solutions with subject matter experts
  • Collaborate with the business to agree on requirements and support investment funding processes
  • Assess impacts of functional changes and advise on management and communication strategies to ensure successful implementation and realization of benefits
  • Recommend improvements to current processes and support their implementation
  • Document key processes clearly and concisely
  • Identify risks, issues, and dependencies, escalating as necessary to ensure mitigation
