The purpose of the role will be to play a pivotal part all business analysis facets of large or complex business change and technology programmes and shape the associated business outcomes. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include driving the business goals ensuring that they are understood and documented; completing robust analysis in line with the overall delivery plan; stakeholder engagement & analysis; requirement gathering ensuring robust elicitation & validation; translating business requirement into functional & technical specifications by engaging with internal & external stakeholders; improving existing business processes; artefact production; solution support; user acceptance testing, and change impact assessments amongst other responsibilities.

Must Have
  • Demonstrable commercial experience of effectively working independently as a Business Analyst.
  • Stakeholder Engagement and Requirement Elicitation.
  • Experience of Business Process Mapping and capturing user stories.
  • Experienced in overseeing UAT sessions, ensuring alignment between requirements and test scenarios.
  • Experience of a variety of analysis techniques such as SWOT, Pestle MoSCoW, etc.
  • A base of formal Business Analysis certification such as BCS Foundation, or evidence of working towards BCS/ISEB Diploma (or similar level of accreditation).
Nice to Have
  • Power BI/Power Platform
  • Knowledge/Experience of Change Management or Continuous Improvement methodologies, tools, and techniques.
  • Business case development
  • Ideally a blend of methodology experience covering Agile and more iterative Waterfall projects.
  • Additional certification such as PRINCE Foundation, PMP, Agile, ITIL, etc.

As an individual you will have excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, be a self-starter, driven, and comfortable with taking responsibility for change and delivery. You will have excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to think on your feet and be ultimately goal orientated.
