Job description

Our client, a leading company in the technology sector, is currently seeking a Business Analyst for a contract position. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on transformation programmes within procurement and supply chain domains.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Capture, analyse, document and manage requirements for new services or changes to existing services focusing on delivering business outcomes.
  • Assist in documenting both existing and new processes to ensure smooth transitions.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, document, and validate both functional and non-functional business requirements.
  • Conduct end-to-end process reviews and develop detailed process maps to identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities.
  • Prepare artefacts such as Business Requirements Documents and Functional Requirements Documents; assist in preparing test plans and provide pre- and post-implementation support.
  • Analyse data flows between systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP) ensuring alignment with procurement workflows and reporting needs.
  • Support the development of transformation initiatives including vendor onboarding and subcontractor performance tracking.
  • Facilitate workshops and interviews with subject matter experts to capture current and future state processes.
Job Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst in transformation programmes, ideally within procurement or supply chain domains.
  • Significant experience in requirements gathering, business process mapping, stakeholder engagement and process modelling.
  • Familiarity with procurement systems and data structures.
  • Ability to interpret and analyse complex data sets and translate findings into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across functions.
  • Experience working in large, matrixed organisations with multiple stakeholder groups.
  • Knowledge and experience of formal analysis techniques such as RUP and UML.
  • Understanding of applying Business Analysis techniques in an agile environment.
