Business Analyst - Project Management Consultancy

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Business Analyst within a Project Management Consultancy.

This consultancy are a small, but rapidly growing, company providing services in business process, change management and project management across multiple industries. This role provides the opportunity to work with a broad range of high profile clients whilst being part of a dynamic, inclusive and driven team.

Alongside their commercial clients, this consultancy offers their services for free to a number of selected charities. It is a really brilliant initiative and a great opportunity to be involved on a number of exciting and rewarding projects!

There is also the opportunity for exciting international and cross-UK travel within this role!

The projects cover a wide range of areas, but an example project could include:

  • Mapping an organisation's current business processes and working with them to identify improvements and implement changes to support these improvements
  • Helping organisations get better use from their current IT systems by ensuring that the system functionality is mapped to business processes
  • Collating and documenting business requirements for major systems implementations
  • Supporting data analysis and migration for major systems implementations
Your Skills
  • At least 3 - 5 years recent experience in Business Analysis (not specifically IT related)
  • Experience working on process improvement activity
  • Experience of gathering and documenting business requirements for system implementations
  • Experience of detailed data analysis for root cause analysis
  • Experience of developing training documents from business process and system instructions
  • You will be exceptionally versed in process mapping, process design and process re‑engineering
  • Good knowledge of formal project management tools and techniques and ability to use process mapping software packages
