Kick‑start your career as a Business Administrator Apprentice! Join our Engagement & Experience Team and be the friendly face of our service—supporting events, promoting opportunities, keeping systems organised, and helping learners succeed. You’ll earn a Level 3 qualification with one of our college partners while building skills in communication, IT, organisation, and problem‑solving. If you’re a people person with energy to spare, this is your chance to grow and make an impact!

Key responsibilities of this role
  • Welcome visitors and manage front‑of‑house smoothly
  • Handle enquiries, calls, and parent/carer communications
  • Build relationships with learners, partners, and local groups
  • Support and coordinate events, trips, and activities
  • Promote services through social media and marketing materials
  • Keep records, registers, and data accurate and up to date
  • Assist with finance tasks like orders and petty cash
  • Prepare agendas, take minutes, and follow up actions
  • Work collaboratively, suggest improvements, and provide general admin support

  • Friendly, confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Well‑organised with excellent attention to detail.
  • Interest in administration, events, marketing or community engagement.
  • Willingness to learn, take initiative and complete apprenticeship requirements.
  • Ability to work positively within a team environment.

  • Previous experience in administration or customer‑facing roles.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms or marketing tasks.
  • Interest in supporting learners, education or community development.
  • Ability to deal with challenging behaviour at times
  • An understanding of the different local services available for learners
  • You’re interested in supporting the wider team with our wellbeing activities, learning opportunities or employment support – and have some skills to offer in this area
